Lorna – Practice Manager/EDDN

Lorna is our practice manager she takes pride in making sure the practice runs smoothly on a daily basis.
She has lots of experience, working for over 30 years in Dentistry gaining extra qualifications in Childsmile.
She loves to make the most of her staff’s skills to get the very best from her professional team.
She enjoys socialising and spending time with her family especially her dog Cooper.
She also enjoys attending the gym doing regular spin classes with Shannon
Shannon – Senior Dental Nurse

Shannon is our senior nurse, she qualified in 2007 from Edinburgh Telford college.
Shannon enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially to see transformations in patients smiles and confidence.
In her spare time Shannon enjoys spin class and looking after her two children.
Ashleigh – Registered Dental Nurse

Ashleigh started dental nursing in 2012 and qualified in 2015.
She joined Thistle Park in 2021 She enjoys spending time with her family and loves to go shopping.
Ciara – Registered Dental Nurse

Ciara Joined us in 2021 and qualified in 2022.
She’s currently started a new course for the Oral Health Education qualification to extend her duties.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending money and eating cheese.
Carol – Registered Dental Nurse

Carol has been a dental nurse for over 25 years.
She joined Allan Park Dental Practice in 2008 after spending 7 years working in Orthodontics.
She joined the team at Thistle Park in 2022 to become a Vocational Training nurse.
In her spare time Carol enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Allan Imrie – Dentist

Allan graduated from the University of Dundee in 2012. He completed his vocational training in Stenhousemuir and worked there for 5 years before moving to Thistle Park Dental practice in 2017.
Allan continues to expand his knowledge by attending courses to give his patients the most up to date evidence based treatment options. He gained his MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015 moving to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2020.
As a provider of short term orthodontic treatments he is a certified inman aligner and C-fast invisible brace provider. Having trained with Smilefast composite bonding system he is able to align and improve the appearance of your teeth to give you the smile you’ve always wanted.
Completing advanced training at the Aesthetics Training Academy in Glasgow has allowed Allan to provide anti wrinkle treatments for patients. He also uses this to help manage patients with tooth grinding; something he is passionate about.
Always striving to improve his skills Allan has completed a 1 year post graduate certificate course in restorative dentistry with Professor Paul Tipton. He is also training with Dr Bruce Strickland of Care Dental Implant clinic in the placement of Dental implants.
His passion for learning and education also led Allan to become a dental vocational trainer for NHS Education for Scotland; helping to train dental graduates after leaving university.
In his spare time Allan enjoys music, playing guitar and spending time with his family.
Niamh Wallace – Dentist

Niamh graduated from the university of Glasgow in 2023.
Niamh enjoys all aspects of dentistry and takes pride in making sure her patients feel at ease during dental treatment.
In her free time She enjoys spending time with family and friends whilst fitting in her hobby of Highland Dancing.

Julie – Dental Hygienist

Julie is a Registered Dental Hygienist and qualified in Dundee Dental Hospital.
She won “The Oral B” award at the end of her qualifying year.
Julie has many years of experience as a clinician working in NHS, Private,
orthodontic, community and cosmetic dentistry sectors. As a dental hygienist part of her role is to support patients in achieving optimal dental health, She is also experienced in the maintenance of dental implants, caring for patients throughout their journey.
Outside of dentistry, Julie enjoys Yoga, Pilates, walking, music, film, theatre
and reading. Julie looks forward to meeting you all soon and is happy to help and answer any questions you may have.
Joanna – Dental Hygienist

I received a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Science from Caledonian University in 2021. I worked as a dental nurse for more than ten years prior to attending university, this helped me gain invaluable experience within the dental field.
I started working at Thistle Park in September 2023, I currently work between both Private & NHS practices. I enjoy all aspects of my job, especially helping nervous patients gain confidence and completing treatment.
I like to ensure I keep up to date with all aspects of treatment which means I regularly attend courses.
Out with work I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog Kova. I recently ran my first half marathon and I am looking to improve my time again this year.

Gordon Campbell – Dentist and Owner

Gordon has owned the practice since 2017 with his wife Claire.
He graduated from Glasgow University in 2002 and worked in Dunblane for 5 years before joining and then taking over Allan Park dental practice in 2008 where he works now.
Gordon focuses on providing a comfortable dental experience and provision of dentistry to the highest standards. In his spare time he enjoys football, golf and walking.
Claire Campbell – Dentist and Owner

Claire has owned the practice since 2017 with her husband Gordon.
Claire graduated from Glasgow University in 2002 and worked in Denny for 2 years before joining Allan Park dental Practice in 2004.
She took over Allan Park in 2008 with her husband Gordon.
Claire now works part-time in her facial aesthetics clinic based within Allan Park Dental Practice.
In her spare time Claire enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her two sons. She also enjoys walking and plays the flute.
